How do I take it?
Dilute one level scoop (5g of Optifibre) into 200ml of liquid or 150g of food. Use only the enclosed scoop. Stir the powder until fully dissolved. Optifibre cane be stirred into hot and cold liquids and solids, without affecting taste or texture.
How can I add OptiFibre® to my daily diet?
It is easy to add in OptiFibre® by mixing it into hot or cold everyday food or drinks. For best results, mix a level scoop or a sachet of OptiFibre® with a drink (e.g. tea, coffee, juice, soup, etc.) or food (e.g. mash, yoghurt, stewed fruit, etc.) until the powder dissolves, then leave it to rest for a few moments. OptiFibre® can also be added to everyday recipes and used in blenders as the fibres will withstand cooking.
When should I use OptiFibre®?
It is best to spread your intake out during the day. For example, you can take OptiFibre® in the morning or at lunchtime by mixing it into your drink (e.g. tea, coffee, fruit juice, milk, etc.). Add it to still drinks so it dissolves properly. In the evening, you can easily mix OptiFibre® into dairy products and puddings (e.g. yoghurt, stewed fruit, etc.) or savoury dishes (e.g. mash, soup, etc.).
You can take it before, during or after your meal.
For how long can I use OptiFibre®?
You can use it in the short- or long-term to suit your needs as it is not addictive.
To rebalance the gut flora, partially hydrolysed guar gum (the only ingredient in OptiFibre®) should be used for at least 14 days*. Use under medical supervision.

Can you add OptiFibre® to fizzy drinks?
It is not recommended to be used in fizy drinks as OptiFibre doesn't dissolve properly.
How long does a box of OptiFibre® last?
• A 250 g box of OptiFibre® contains 50 x 5 g doses which will last 3 weeks on average*
• A 125 g box of OptiFibre® contains 25 x 5 g doses which will last 10 days on average*
• A box of 16 sachets of OptiFibre® contains 16 x 5 g doses which will last a week on average*
How long can I keep the product once it’s been opened?
Before opening, store it in a cool, dry place. After being opened, OptiFibre® can be kept for up to 8 weeks.
Once you have mixed the powder into food or drink ready to take, you should do so quickly or within 24 hours if covered and refrigerated (4°C).
*Minimum recommended period: 1 scoop or sachet for the first 3 days; 2 scoops or sachets from the fourth day.
